Why Should My Sign Be Serviced?:

There are a number of reasons why your business sign should be properly maintained.

Why Should my Sign be Cleaned?:

The obvious reason for this step in sign maintenance is so that your sign continues to project a favorable image of your business. Mold and mildew buildup on the sign faces is the same as looking through a dirty windshield while driving. Everything is brighter and clearer when it’s cleaned!

Mold and mildew buildup also rapidly decreases the life of various sign components and fasteners ultimately leading to higher costs for your sign service over the life of the sign.

7 Point Inspection & Repair Program:

Fasteners: Inspection and replacement of any aged or defective mechanical fasteners within the sign display;

Components: Inspection and replacement of any aged or malfunctioning components within the sign display such as corroded wiring, faulty components causing short circuiting, malfunctioning ballasts or transformers, lamp sockets etc.

Illumination: Inspection and replacement of any malfunctioning light sources such as fluorescent lamps, LED modules or neon tubes. While on site it is recommended that if one of the light sources requires replacement, that all light sources are replaced to ensure consistent lighting and to save on future service costs, as the labor charges are already being incurred.

Cleaning: Thoroughly clean all interior and exterior surfaces of the sign face and graphics to ensure a positive image of the business. Also clean all wiring trays and drain holes to ensure proper operation of these components.

Lubrication: Lubricate as necessary all moving parts such as hinges.

Seals & Gaskets: Inspect and replace as necessary all seals and gaskets in the sign display to ensure maximum protection from the elements.

Analyze: We will analyze your sign program and make written recommendations as to how you may make your sign displays more effective or as to how you may keep future maintenance costs to a minimum.

Electrical Sign Service Agreements:

As an option, why not consider a monthly Service Agreement with 1-888-burnt-out? This is an excellent way to amortize your sign service costs over an extended period of time and also provides cost certainty for your budgeting purposes.

The typical term of this agreement is 60 months but we can tailor an agreement that can be matched up to your premises lease or to satisfy any other requirements that you may have.

For the term of the agreement all labour and material costs are covered should your sign display require service or cleaning.

All we require is a phone call from you. Talk about peace of mind!

Parking Lot / Commercial Lighting:

The lighting systems throughout your parking areas and other parts of your premises are an integral part of the overall image presented of your business.

They also provide a large safety factor for your employees and customers.

We are able to provide the necessary service and electrical components to service these displays and our service fleet has a reach of 45’ in height.

For any components above this level we are also able to provide the necessary lift equipment required to reach these areas.

We can also provide you with an assessment of your current premises lighting system and suggest areas that could be improved, both in terms of effectiveness and potential cost savings.

At 1-888-burnt-out? we offer clean cut, uniformed technicians that arrive at your home when it is convenient for you. Most services can be completed within 24-72 hours. We can provide new light fixtures or work with any fixtures that you already have…it’s your choice!

Our services are turn-key!

What does this mean to you? It means that if we are installing new pot lights for example, and the job requires some drywall patching or paint touch up…we coordinate all of this work within our own team of technicians.

There is no need for you to bring in several different trades to complete the project and ultimately the project is completed much quicker!
